Our long-grain rice is cultivated in the lands of Valencia or Andalusia.

It differs from round rice in that it does not contain starch, which makes it very loose, whole, light, and, as a counterpart, has little flavor absorption. It is ideal for accompanying sauces, side dishes, and salads, both for cold and hot dishes.

This type of rice is the most widely used in the world. Asia, America, Africa accompany their dishes with rice, just as we use bread.
